Today Spotify announced a new feature in the app’s settings that lets you control if you want your kid’s music to affect your recommendations.
When the setting is off, you will still be able to search and play songs your kids want to hear but it won't affect your Discover Weekly, Daily Mix, and Warped. It will more accurately reflect your taste of music.
Enabling this feature is extremely easy on the iOS and Android apps. All you need to do is navigate to "Settings and Privacy”, select “Content and Display” and toggle the switch next to “Include kids and family music in taste profile”
Spotify says it may take up to 48 hours for the changes to take place.
