Starting October 9th (tomorrow) Gemini Free Plan users won’t be able to use Gemini Flash and Gemini Pro and will be limited to Flash light. You will now need the $4.99/month Google AI Plus plan to use Gemini Flash, existing users who have the AI Plus plan will no longer have access to Gemini Pro. Access to Gemini Pro is now limited to the $19.99/month Google AI Pro plan.
Free Plan users will have “Standard limits” when using Gemini, while AI Plus users will have “2x higher than standard limits” with access to Gemini Flash and 400GB of Google One Storage for Mail, Drive and Photos. AI Pro users will have “4x higher than standard limits” and access to Gemini Pro with 5TB of Google One storage for Mail, Drive and Photos.
